Taps Flashback – 28 June 2018

This is an irregular column that rewinds the clock back some years to see what was on the taps at certain pubs. Too many of these will no doubt be from my local, The Great Northern Railway Tavern (GNRT), in North London that has been a tremendous pub over the years for its beer selection.

Here we travel back to 2018 when the GNRT was awash with the distinctive brown labels of London’s finest – The Kernel brewery. There was a cornucopia of beers on the taps from the Bermondsey-based producer. It’s all now long lost in my memory, which beers I sampled. And no doubt at the time it was all a blur anyway. Glory days at the GNRT.
